Click to Read an Important Member Update Regarding Our Comment System
We recently upgraded our comment system to improve reliability, performance, and long-term control, and we’re currently running both systems during the transition. This shift moves us away from an external service to a system we run and control directly—meaning we own the content and can continue improving it over time. We’ve also reduced the comment refresh delay from about 30 seconds to 10 seconds, making it much closer to real-time.
We understand there have been frustrations and increased feedback, and we’re actively working to improve things. What we ask is simple: use the system and give it a fair shot. If you run into issues, please submit them through the support form so we can track and fix them properly. Repeated complaints without details don’t help us solve problems—we appreciate your patience as we continue refining the experience.

When a fastball pitcher gets to pitch in Miami, their odds are normally better to succeed in that pitcher’s park. This is a golden opportunity for Joan Adon. Normally a rookie with a 7.03 ERA would not get so many chances, but here Adon is getting another. Continue reading →

In a bit of déjà vu, the Washington Nationals face the Miami Marlins at 12-games under .500 just like they did in 2019. Right, right, that 2019 Nats’ team was a good team that had some injuries and started off slowly, and this Nats’ team was expected to lose in 2022. Continue reading →

When Joan Adon made his MLB debut last year in October, we got to see a glimpse of the future, and an unpolished gem in one start against the Red Sox. We knew he had a blazing fastball and a wipe-out slider — and we saw those pitches from an amp’d up Adon on display. Nobody expected Adon to make the Nationals’ roster out of Spring Training this year, but yet here he is. Continue reading →
In a matchup of starting pitchers that could be on the marquee for the 2019 World Series, we have a divergent pair with Justin Verlander and Patrick Corbin. While Verlander is turning in a Cy season so far, Corbin is trying to find his former self. Continue reading →
The Blue Rocks can’t catch a break with weather as the first game of their doubleheader was suspended in the 3rd inning.
Top prospects, Evan Lee and Andry Lara went today for their respective teams and the Red Wings looked to make it eight wins in a row. Continue reading →
When losing becomes expected, you have to question the vision and the leadership. The stars must step up and align to bring winning back as the norm to the Washington Nationals. With regards to manager Dave Martinez and general manager Mike Rizzo, they are being questioned once again on their leadership and whether they can meet expectations. Continue reading →

Some of you have had this game circled on your calendars since the day the schedules were published. The Washington Nationals will have the Houston Astros in for a weekend series in a rematch of the 2019 World Series teams. The strangest twist is that Dusty Baker is now the manager of the Astros. He said in an interview about the good feelings about Washington, but still cannot let go about how he parted ways with the Nats in an interview he did this week with the Houston media. Expect a lot of mentions of Baker, and we will see if there will be any type of video board tribute to the manager who won two NL East titles in 2016 and 2017 for Washington. Continue reading →
