Game #44 has an ex-Dodgers battery going for the Nats!

Yes, Josiah Gray and Keibert Ruiz both came over in the deadline deal last July that sent Trea Turner and Max Scherzer over to the Dodgers. Stat Leaders and Standouts on the farm as of 5/23!

The stat leaders heading into week eight of the minor league baseball season.

Matt Cronin remains unscored upon through 16 1/3 innings pitched and his outings are nothing short of dominant.

Jeremy De La Rosa had a huge week going 10-24 (.417 BA) and jumping to the top of the leaderboard for multiple categories.

Game #43 welcomes Trea and Huddy back to DC!

Last homestand theWashington Nationals welcomed back Dusty Baker from the visitor’s dugout, and today it will be World Series heroes, Trea Turner and Daniel Hudson, who return as visiting players. The Nats have prepared a joint video tribute for Turner and Hudson to play just before first pitch.

This series against the Dodgers is just more of the relentless schedule which hasn’t given the Washington Nationals many chances against against non-contending teams lately. At some point, the Nats will face some struggling teams. Continue reading
