Click to Read an Important Member Update Regarding Our Comment System
We recently upgraded our comment system to improve reliability, performance, and long-term control, and we’re currently running both systems during the transition. This shift moves us away from an external service to a system we run and control directly—meaning we own the content and can continue improving it over time. We’ve also reduced the comment refresh delay from about 30 seconds to 10 seconds, making it much closer to real-time.
We understand there have been frustrations and increased feedback, and we’re actively working to improve things. What we ask is simple: use the system and give it a fair shot. If you run into issues, please submit them through the support form so we can track and fix them properly. Repeated complaints without details don’t help us solve problems—we appreciate your patience as we continue refining the experience.

We have another Apple TV+ game tonight for the Washington Nationals, and that will be the only way to watch this game tonight unless you are in Oracle Park in-person. This team is West Coasting it, and starts this road trip in the City By The Bay. Hopefully more luck will be found for the Nats on this road trip. Continue reading →

Another day full of games as there were five across the system on Thursday.
The FredNats looked to rebound after being two-hit by the RiverDogs last night. Up-and-coming pitching prospect, Rodney Theophile, was on the bump hoping to continue his outstanding 2022 campaign. Continue reading →

Both teams play with the same weather conditions, and the same umpires, yet the past week, the Washington Nationals keep coming up short at the most critical times. The team batting average is sinking like a lead weight to a .222 mark. Since the 1-0 win on April 19, the Nats are averaging just 1.875 runs scored per game.
The batting order during any given game might feature as many as five players batting under the Mendoza line, and the DH is supposed to hit better than pitchers, right? Well the $15 million Nelson Cruz is batting an identical mark to what Stephen Strasburg put up in 2019. Actually the former Silver Slugger has three seasons when he batted .200 or better. Following the rain outs yesterday, we had a full slate of games.
The first-place FredNats went up against Charleston after putting on an offensive clinic versus the same RiverDogs team last night. Continue reading →
If you thought Sandy Alcantara was good last night, the Washington Nationals face the top ERA pitcher in the league tonight. Pablo Lopez has a 0.52 ERA for the season and has not yielded a run in 12 2/3 innings coming into this game. Continue reading →
On a rainy Tuesday night, two of the four scheduled games were postponed. Luckily for us, there was no shortage of action even though Fredericksburg started with a rain delay and ended up scoring two touchdowns 15 runs, and Rochester put up a touchdown and field goal 10 runs. Continue reading →
The losing streak stands at five games for the Washington Nationals, and they have to face Sandy Alcantara tonight for the Miami Marlins. While Alcantara is so tough to score on when he is pitching in Miami, he can be beat on the road. Last year he had a home ERA of 2.41 vs. 4.01 on the road. This year, so far, he is even better at a 1.86 ERA at home and a road ERA of 3.60. Continue reading →
Onward to week 4 of the minor league baseball season! These are the qualified stat leaders throughout the Washington Nationals system as of April 24th. The FredNats are scoring at a remarkable rate, averaging 8.5 runs a game, and as expected the leaderboards are dominated by players in their lineup. Continue reading →
