Click to Read an Important Member Update Regarding Our Comment System
We recently upgraded our comment system to improve reliability, performance, and long-term control, and we’re currently running both systems during the transition. This shift moves us away from an external service to a system we run and control directly—meaning we own the content and can continue improving it over time. We’ve also reduced the comment refresh delay from about 30 seconds to 10 seconds, making it much closer to real-time.
We understand there have been frustrations and increased feedback, and we’re actively working to improve things. What we ask is simple: use the system and give it a fair shot. If you run into issues, please submit them through the support form so we can track and fix them properly. Repeated complaints without details don’t help us solve problems—we appreciate your patience as we continue refining the experience.

This is the opportunity of a lifetime for Tommy Romero who gets the spot start for the Washington Nationals as the 29th man in this doubleheader. He had his first opportunity with the Tampa Bay Rays earlier in the season and it was a mixed bag of results. Continue reading →
The all too familiar sight of the tarp on the field. See if you can follow what happened to today’s originally scheduled doubleheader. With the remnants of Hurricane Ian heading to Washington, D.C. they decided on Thursday to make today a single afternoon game and make Friday a split-day/night doubleheader, but last night’s game was rained out. So here we are again back to another split-day/night doubleheader. Once again, things do not look good on the weather forecast right now. Continue reading →
The remnants of Hurricane Ian has arrived arrived in Washington D.C. as a slow and steady rain. Will the Washington Nationals be able to play this game tonight? The Nats dropped game #1 of this doubleheader this afternoon. Continue reading →
Have the words “hurricane”, “spoiler”, and “doubleheader” been used in the same sentence before? Mother Nature has once again created damage and wreaked havoc on millions of people. Hurricane Ian pummeled the west coast of Florida with it’s target on Ft. Myers, Florida which is the Spring Training home to both the Red Sox and Twins as well as hundreds of thousands of people who live there.
For baseball fans, this should really be a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. But here we are, with no roof to close on Nationals Park and no control over the weather. Tomorrow’s doubleheader was reduced to an afternoon game with a preemptive move to make today a split-day/night doubleheader. Things do not look good on the weather forecast for after 4pm, truth be told. Continue reading →

For the 23rd time this season, the Washington Nationals are in a salvage game in a series. The Nats are 11-11 in salvage games this year and looking to turn that to a dozen wins. This is also the season’s finale against the Atlanta Braves. Continue reading →

Getting to 100 losses seemed inevitable for the Washington Nationals and last night they reached that mark. Clearly not a good thing unless you consider a key draft pick in 2023 to be the best consolation prize. For the players on the field, they have to dig deep to finish these final eight games. Playing for pride, playing to win, and playing for a roster spot on the 2023 team should be motivation enough to give it everything you have. Continue reading →

The big news of the day is that CJ Abrams has been moved up to the 2-spot in the batting order. Today’s lineup could be close to the 2023 Washington Nationals’ Opening Day lineup if you add back Keibert Ruiz and a new leftfielder. Continue reading →
