Game #28 The Nationals face familiar friends in Anaheim!

The Washington Nationals are in their final leg of this long western swing on this road trip. For this weekend, the Nats find themselves in Anaheim to face the Angels. There are some familiar faces on that team as Anthony Rendon, for the first time, will face the team that drafted him and had him as part of their World Series roster.

For the Nats on the mound, they will start the rookie Joan Adon. The Angels called up lefty Jhonathan Diaz in what will be his third career start and first start of the 2022 season.

For manager Dave Martinez‘s lineup, Nelson Cruz is back at the DH spot and batting fourth, and Yadiel Hernandez is back on the bench.
