Game #66 Nats want to wrap-up a sweep in Arizona

The Washington Nationals can get back to their high mark of the season with a win today to get back to two games above .500. The Nats have already clinched this series win by crushing the Diamondbacks with two consecutive blow-outs.

After today’s game, the Nats will fly to San Francisco for a three game series to complete this short West Coast road trip.

Washington has Cade Cavalli on the mound today, and the Diamondbacks go with righty Michael Soroka who was with the Nats a year ago. The Nats should have a good scouting report on him. Remember, work his pitch count and expand it as much as you can.

Manager Blake Butera has a new arm in Riley Cornelio who was recalled today to replace Cole Henry who struggled pitching in close games.
