Game #65 A chance to get back over .500 (again)

The Washington Nationals will look to veteran right-hander Zack Littell to lead the Nats to victory. Littell had a really good month of May where he went 5-0. The Diamondbacks go with lefty Eduardo Rodriguez who is having a bounceback season after dreadful 2024 and 2025 disasters.

The Nationals only had to use Paxton Schultz and Cole Henry out of their bullpen yesterday. Couple that with Thursday’s day off and the entire back of the Nats bullpen is rested at this point.

Last night, the Nationals hit five home runs in the game and scored 14 runs. That kept Washington at the top of run scoring offenses in baseball with 10 more runs than the Braves. On top of that, the Nats have a +3 positive run differential this season, the highest mark for the team since April 3.

Today’s game time temperature outside of Chase Field is a cooler 101. That’s nothing next month they will have summer temps get well above 110.
