The New & Improved TalkNats Podcast

Some exciting news that Kevin Nibley and Bryan King are once again starring in the TalkNats Podcast. Their first two episodes are loaded now!

The first episode was arranged by our own Rich Foster who booked his cousin, Hollywood actor Jonathan Banks, to talk about his D.C. beginnings and Washington baseball.

Banks, 79 at the end of the month, spoke about his childhood as a Senators fan and attending Washington Senators games. He was at Harmon Killebrew’s debut game at Griffith Stadium in Washington, DC. And Mr. Banks found his love again for baseball with the Washington Nationals.

During the 2019 World Series, Banks was 72¾ years old and said he jumped three feet in the air when the Nats won. Born in Washington, DC, Banks grew up in Chillum in Prince Georges County, and moved to Silver Spring, Maryland and graduated from Northwood High School. He then went to college at Indiana and headed to Hollywood to pursue acting.

It was about 42 years ago when Banks was a major character as one of the bad guys in Eddie Murphy’s original Beverly Hills Cop. Most recently known for recurring roles in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Banks has over 80 film credits in his career. You can see an IMDB video biography of Bank’s work here.

And here is the first TalkNats Podcast:

Loaded last night is Nibley and King talking about the current Washington Nationals with a look back and a look forward.

Both Nibley and King work in the TV and movie business with numerous Hollywood credits on their résumés.
