Game #98 has the Nats in Los Angeles

The Washington Nationals are in Los Angeles for three games, and the team didn’t need Victor Robles to wear his clown nose to start the pre-game media circus at Juan Soto‘s locker as he was peppered with questions about his future and if he wanted to play for the Dodgers. Soto had all of the right responses to the media that he is still a Washington Nationals’ player. That didn’t end the barrage of questions on the subject.

This is one of those games that look like the Nats have no chance to win going up against Tony Gonsolin who is 11-0 on this season. Paolo Espino will take the start for the Nats and manager Dave Martinez shook up his lineup after it was posted and has now moved Robles to the lead-off spot.

It was a week ago that Soto won the 2022 HR Derby in this same ballpark. It was quite the night for the young Nats’ slugger.
