It was not a happy flight back to Washington D.C. last night after the Washington Nationals were swept by the Miami Marlins. Now the Nats open a 10 day homestand. They welcome the Milwaukee Brewers into town.
The scuffling Nats will pitch Erick Fedde tonight. Fedde had been on a nice run but has struggled in his last two starts. It would be a good time for Fedde to lead the Nats to a victory and end this losing streak.
There was no news of any roster moves today. and we await word of how Nelson Cruz’s back is today.
