Game #110 has the depleted Nats in Atlanta!

This weekend series in Atlanta for the Washington Nationals has two teams going in opposite directions. The lineups are far different from what we saw on June 3. The Braves added at the trade deadline, and the Nats subtracted from the lineup the Braves saw last.

To make matters worse, Juan Soto is not starting tonight for the Nats due to a sore knee. In tonight’s lineup that manager Dave Martinez penciled up, he only has two Opening Day starters in the lineup, and five of the players were with the Rochester Triple-A squad in June.

Of course none of the lineup matters much if Erick Fedde throws a complete game shutout. Short of that, the Nats losing streak that stands at four and could climb downward again.

The Nats are facing rookie lefty Kyle Muller who some of the Nats have faced before in Triple-A.  Nobody has an MLB at-bat against Muller until now.

Both reliever Sam Clay and infielder Carter Kieboom grew up and make their homes in Atlanta. There should be a lot of Nats fans in attendance.
