Game #13 Patrick Corbin takes on the Cardinals

The Nats call on their lefty, Patrick Corbin, who is set to make his second Spring Training start this evening against those same St. Louis Cardinals he faced over the weekend. This time, Corbin will be on his own mound at the FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches.

Today’s matchup is against the team the Nats swept in the NLCS. The Nats will face the righthanded Carlos Martinez again in the same matchup as we saw on February 29th. This game is set for 6:05 pm game that you can watch on MASN or listen on Cardinals radio.

By the way, Victor Robles, Adam Eaton, and Eric Thames will all sit in this game. They are expected back shortly. Robles is working back from his oblique tweak and Eaton has a hamstring tweak, and Thames has a sore calf. Manager Dave Martinez said that none of the injuries are serious and he will not rush these players back.

Today’s lineup is interesting given that this is the anticipated lineup for the starters with bench players filling in for Eaton (Andrew Stevenson) and Robles (Michael A. Taylor), and you will notice that Carter Kieboom is back at third base with the starters. Yan Gomes as normal is catching Corbin.
