The Nats lone lefty starter, Patrick Corbin, is set to make his Spring Training debut today in Jupiter, Florida against the St. Louis Cardinals.

If you remember the last time Patrick Corbin pitched in a game, a smile should encompass your face as a Nats fan. If you don’t remember, he pitched three innings in relief of Max Scherzer in Game 7 of the World Series and Corbin earned the win after the Daniel Hudson save. Oh yah, and Howie Kendrick clanked the foul pole for the game winning RBIs.

Savor it or don’t, it’s your choice. Today’s matchup is against the team the Nats swept in the NLCS. The Nats will face the righthanded Carlos Martinez in this 1:05 pm game that you can watch on FOX Sports Midwest with local radio from 106.7 FM.

By the way, Victor Robles will sit his third straight game after he tweaked his side a source tells us “nothing serious” and all tests were clean so we will keep an eye on this.

If you heard  manager Dave Martinez talk, he does not want to be living in the past, but fans certainly can.
