The Nats have to get back to the “feast” offense as the famine offense was not a good look last night. Another look that was not good was the 8th inning bullpen. Get back at it and get Patrick Corbin some big run support, and some shutdown bullpenning.
The Pirates will start the righty Joe Musgrove who has not been the pitcher he was at the start of the season when teams could not score on him. Now he has had his struggles for much of the summer months, and the Nationals need to take advantage.
This four game series is tied at a game each, and the Nationals are sticking with last night’s lineup with Gomes in there as Corbin’s regular catcher.
