Game #84 Will this be the night the real #Nats show up?

We have all been waiting for the pretenders to leave so the contenders can appear. It has been a month of some of the worst baseball that Nats fans have seen since the NLDS. Everyone has an opinion and those who want to place blame can find many to blame. Last night, Tom Boswell at the Washington Post was at the post-game presser, and he asked the question as to how this team has lost exactly 2/3rds of their one-run games. It is remarkable because if the Nationals had won 2/3rds of the one-run games they would be in first place.

The Nationals had their ace of all aces on the mound last night and could not win. Tonight they get their chance with Tanner Roark against the Red Sox lefty rookie Brian Johnson.

The Nationals introduced their 1st round pick Mason Denaburg to the media today at Nationals Park. Denaburg signed for a reported $500,000 over slot value at $3 million. Denaburg is represented by the Boras Corporation.

Players started wearing their 4th of July accoutrement already, players will be wearing patriotic inspired clothing and Under Armour has created fireworks inspired cleats and arm sleeves that Juan Soto was wearing yesterday. Ever since Bryce Harper stepped into the big leagues, he has been nothing short of explosive. To celebrate Independence Day and the fireworks Bryce brings to the field every single game, he’ll be wearing a special makeup of his third signature cleat, the UA Harper 3.
