Click to Read an Important Member Update Regarding Our Comment System
We recently upgraded our comment system to improve reliability, performance, and long-term control, and we’re currently running both systems during the transition. This shift moves us away from an external service to a system we run and control directly—meaning we own the content and can continue improving it over time. We’ve also reduced the comment refresh delay from about 30 seconds to 10 seconds, making it much closer to real-time.
We understand there have been frustrations and increased feedback, and we’re actively working to improve things. What we ask is simple: use the system and give it a fair shot. If you run into issues, please submit them through the support form so we can track and fix them properly. Repeated complaints without details don’t help us solve problems—we appreciate your patience as we continue refining the experience.

There is no indication whatsoever that the Washington Nationals are in “sell” mode even though many disenchanted fans are doing their best imitations of traders in the pit at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange yelling “Sell Sell Sell” and it is just too early to throw the towel in on the season when you are only 4-games back. How many times can you write the Nationals had their chances? The Nationals were 1-for-9 in RISP situations tonight, but the real sin was Ryan Madson entered the game with a 2-1 deficit and quickly gave up a 2-run home run. The Nationals clawed back for 2-runs in the 9th inning and fell short in a 4-3 loss. Continue reading →
There are multiple dynamics in the works here today. The Nationals have been offense-deprived as they have not scored a run in 18-innings since they tallied a 3-spot on the Phillies to win an exciting come-from-behind game on Sunday. The Nationals are also in a starting pitching slump with only Max Scherzer doing his job. Some think the Nationals are in an emotional slump — and that is subjective and open to interpretation. We will be at the halfway point in the season this weekend, and it is hard to believe that the Nationals had suffered being shut-out only twice leading up to the Dream Gala. The opposite of a dream is a nightmare and it has been that way since June 9th. The very next day on June 10th the listless Nats were shut-out and each week since that day the Nationals have been shut-out. Since the Gala, there have been 5 shut-outs. The Nationals record — a nightmarish 4 wins and 11 losses from June 10th forward.
History has said the day after that Gala has always been an ugly game followed by some lethargic games, but now we are over two weeks removed from that day and what is the excuse now? Yesterday was no surprise that it ended up in a loss. Blake Snell has been the best pitcher in baseball in his home park this year where you would be lucky to get a run off of him, and Gio Gonzalez has been awful in June where he had a 6.20 ERA entering yesterday’s game and now is at 8.44 for the month of June and it is possible he could pitch on June 30th. July is almost upon us, and with it will come…at some point…an updated MLB Pipeline ranking of organizational top-30 prospects.
The Washington Nationals’ list of top prospects has already changed quite a bit from the preseason rankings, and it will soon change even more! Continue reading →
While you would like to enjoy last night’s win a little longer, the MLB schedule has a game today in Tampa, Florida. The boys touched down in Tampa as the sun was rising. We learned from Juan Soto that he was just getting into bed at 5:30AM, and he is already awake and on his way to the ballpark. The Nationals have a 7:10pm game in Tampa where the Nationals will face one of the best lefties in baseball. Continue reading →
