Postgamer #57: An error ends the Nats winning streak. Once again, bad defense turns to a loss.

The Washington Nationals four game winning streak came to an end. One error brought in three runs in a 3-2 loss. What is the saying about bad defense? The Nats have a day-off tomorrow and head back to Washington at one game over .500.

The Nats had what seemed to be an advantage of a very rested bullpen, but the error changed everything on a routine bounce to Curtis Mead at third base. The Nats had the tying run at second base when the game ended.

“Hopefully this isn’t the end of the stretch of good baseball.”

Next up is the San Diego Padres on Friday.
