Evan Lee gets the Call for Tomorrow’s Game! Tuesday’s MiLB Recap

Class-A Fredericksburg “FredNats” Nationals

The Fred Nats can’t seem to buy a win. Today they could only muster three hits, two coming from Jeremy De La Rosa. On the pitching side of things they allowed 15 hits including six extra-base hits. That would be be good for nine runs. Fred Nats lose another one 9-0.

High-A Wilmington Blue Rocks

The Blue Rocks tossed a combined shutout on the back of four scoreless innings from Jake Irvin. Zach Brzykcy struck out the side to close it out in the 9th. The offense managed to score five runs on six hits, remarkably all without drawing a walk. Highlights come from Jose Sanchez and Omar Meregildo who both homered. Rocks win 5-0.

Double-A Harrisburg Senators

The Senators got out to an early deficit, spotting the SeaWolves seven runs in the 2nd inning. The offense would never have a chance, but Justin Connell turned in a three hit game and Dondrei Hubbard homered. Ike Schlabach made his first Double-A appearance and struck out two while allowing a hit and walk. Sens lose 11-3.

Triple-A Rochester Red Wings

The Red Wings had the day off after playing yesterday. They were bested by the Bison in that game, 7-5.

Farm System final notes 🎶

The Nats’ minor league system is back to their struggling ways. It was announced that Evan Lee will be called up tomorrow (Wednesday) for a spot start in New York, so that’s something to look forward to.
