Game #43, 44, 45 was postponed yesterday; Doubleheader today (hopefully)!

After another postponement of Game #44, we will try again for 2:05 pm this afternoon at Nationals Park. The weather radar looks iffy at best until late afternoon so this will be a wait and see when the first game of this scheduled doubleheader takes place. The good news is the weather report looks good for the entire evening and all of Sunday which should see some sunshine tomorrow.

Manager Dave Martinez has adjusted his pitching rotation with Tanner Roark starting the first game today against the righty Ross Strickland. You can also expect a line-up mix and match against Strickland who has reverse splits where right-handed batters hit him for a higher OPS. The forgotten Spencer Kieboom will start today in game 1 according to our source, but expect Davey Martinez will put in similar line-ups for both games. Without Ryan Zimmerman and Daniel Murphy who both had good ownage on Rich Hill who starts game two tonight, it should be interesting.

For now, we will be in wait and see mode on the weather as to the start time on game 1 today. Keep the Nationals head groundskeeper, Director of Field Operations John Turnour, in your thoughts today as he has been working around the clock to keep water cleared off of the field.

If you collect the rarest of Nationals memorabilia, New Era released the Bryce Harper jersey caps today in a very limited edition of 90 caps for $500 per cap. Each cap is made from Bryce Harper authentic Majestic jerseys. Click here.
