Game #50 The #Nats and Tanner Roark wake up in San Francisco

Today is Memorial Day — a  day to honor those who served this country while remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇲 Major League Baseball has all teams clad in special uniforms today to raise awareness and funds for veteran’s charities. This year, teams wore these uniforms on Saturday and Sunday also.

The Washington Nationals flew through the night to San Francisco for the start of a three city 9-game west coast road trip through June 7th. The Nationals plane landed at 2:35AM on the watches of those who did not change their Rolex hour hands to local time.

Today’s game has Tanner Roark for the Nationals and left-handed Matt Moore for the Giants.

The Nationals have a very limited history against Matt Moore who pitched most of his career for the Tampa Bay Rays which is why Matt Wieters has a long history against him in the AL East.
