Gio Gonzalez faces off against Adam Morgan who will be making his 15th start of the season. We all remember the Adam(s) Morgan tweets and FP jokes when the Nats were scheduled to face him on June 27th but the game was postponed. Morgan is a lefty pitcher and is a Rookie who made his debut back in the June.
Keep in mind the Nats have never faced Morgan however they prepared for him and should have good scouting reports on him. The good news is that Jonathan Papelbon can give the Nats some intel on Morgan.
Morgan throws a 90mph 4-seamer as his main pitch and has an 82mph slider, a 79 change-up and will throw some slow curveballs.
