Plenty of Offense and a Mitchell Parker Gem. Tuesday’s MiLB Recap

Class-A Fredericksburg “FredNats” Nationals

The bullpen was tremendous following a solid start from Bryan Caceres. They combined to throw 3.2 shutout innings with only onw hit and one walk. Leandro Emiliani, Branden Boissiere, and T.J. White all tallied two hits. Seven of the starting nine notched at least one. All three runs were scored in the 7th inning, coming on an Emiliani single and Boissiere single. Brady House had a hit in the game and was robbed twice. He paid them back on defense and committed two robberies with spectacular Web Gems. House has had his struggles on defense before and this was the best game he has turned in at shortstop. FredNats win 3-2.

High-A Wilmington Blue Rocks

Mitchell Parker was tremendous once again in five innings, sitting down nine and allowing one run. The offense was on fire, but unfortunately the game was called in the 6th inning due to weather. Darren Baker, Yasel Antuna, and Jordy Barley all had two hits and an extra-base hit a piece. Rocks win 6-1.

Double-A Harrisburg Senators

Going up against the last place Bowie Baysox, the Senators still can’t figure it out. Steven Fuentes and Brian Gonzalez spotted them five runs on a rainy day and the offense couldn’t respond. Wilson Garcia hit a solo home run for the only run scored. Senators lose 6-1.

Triple-A Rochester Red Wings

Jackson Tetreault had his first bad start in over a month as he couldn’t get out of the 4th inning before giving up eight runs. The offense did their best to claw back with help from a Tres Barrera homer and Joey Meneses‘ 13th bomb of the season. Six runs wouldn’t be enough, Wings lose 10-6.

Farm System final notes 🎶

Yesterday was day two in the Dominican Summer League and Florida Complex League. Standouts include Enmanuel Ramirez who went 2-3 with a double. Cristhian Vaquero went hitless with two walks. In the FCL, Cristopher De La Cruz went 2-3 with a double. Armando Cruz had a double. Erick Tejeda had three RBI.
