Game #45 Series salvage job against the Dodgers

It seems like a pattern is setting in here, where the Washington Nationals lose the first two games in a series, and must win the final game to salvage a series. That is how you lose over 100 games in a season by that exact formula.

Manager Dave Martinez has once again shook up his lineup as he searches for answers. Why did he wait for the season to get to the point that 25 percent of the season was already over? Last night the Nats offense scored four runs, but it wasn’t enough when your starting pitcher gives up seven runs early. The Nats actually fell behind 2-0 and scratched back to take a 3-2 lead. That lead only lasted a few minutes.

With the team facing a lefty starting pitcher, Martinez will only bat one lefty batter in this one with the struggling Juan Soto. Back in the lineup is Victor Robles.
