Game #122 marks 40 remaining games!

The Washington Nationals will have 40 games remaining after today. The evaluation process is in full swing as the Nats will have Lane Thomas at leadoff and in center field. Victor Robles will be on the bench today. Is that significant? We will see what the Nats manager,  Dave Martinez, says after the game.

There were not any new roster moves, just lineup moves. Martinez delayed posting his lineup as his team is going up against lefty Eric Lauer of the Brewers.

The manager has Ryan Zimmerman in there today at first base, and Tres Barrera will get the start over Riley Adams in this one.

The Nats will be going with righty Paolo Espino this afternoon as the starter.  Either the league has adjusted to him or his pitches just aren’t getting the same results as earlier in the season. We will hope for the good Espino today.
