The Washington Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies could change how the NL East looks depending on how this 4-game series goes.

For the Nats, they will start Eric Fedde tonight, and the Phillies have rookie Spencer Howard in what will be the Nationals first look at this pitcher.

There will be a new-look Nationals lineup with Michael A. Taylor starting for Victor Robles. Everything else looks the same with Howie Kendrick back in the lineup after a day-off yesterday. The team now needs to get Asdrubal Cabrera out of his current slump.

In other news, the Nationals did not make one move leading up to today’s 4 pm trade deadline, and the Phillies added David Phelps to their roster in a trade with the Brewers.
