Game #4 of Spring Training has a long trip to the Magic Kingdom

Today, the Nationals have a 326 mile drive on their round trip voyage to the Magic Kingdom near Orlando tomorrow to play the Atlanta Braves. The drive will be 2 1/2 hours each way, and the players have to get to the buses very early for the business trip. Dave Martinez says he wakes up at 5am, but most of the players are sleeping at that time.

For today’s game, the projected starting pitchers are Erick Fedde for the Nationals and Julio Teheran for the Atlanta Braves. While the Braves will be playing most of their regulars, the Nationals will be using back-ups for this Monday early afternoon game.

Yesterday, the Nationals beat the Braves 9-to-3 in a blow-out. The Braves only sent a few players on Sunday who are projected to make their 2018 team. There was no Freddie Freeman, Ozzie Albies or Ender Inciarte in the line-up on Sunday. Expect a Braves starting line-up today that will resemble something closer to their Opening Day line-up.
