The 2018 visitor’s guide to Spring Training in West Palm Beach (for Nats fans)

 Ballpark Palm Beaches

Instead of reproducing last year’s local guide of restaurants, hotels, golf courses, sightseeing, etc., for Spring Training in West Palm Beach in its totality, we opted to build on it with a few new flavors in places to eat and visit. Most of last year’s list is still going strong and worth checking out. Rocco’s Tacos seemed to be the winner of the most popular restaurant among fans at the 4 locations in the county.

A couple of reminders, Spring Training is a busy time of year in Palm Beach County especially now that there are four teams located in the county. Waiting for a table will exist for almost any restaurant — and heavier than normal traffic may not always be fun. Stay patient and allow plenty of time to get to your destination.

Also, when planning your trip remember looking at the game schedule for the “road” games. The Marlins and Cardinals are located in Jupiter, a short ride to the North and the Mets are in Port St. Lucie only 45 minutes north. Tickets to Cardinals games are usually tight as their fan base is long-established and full of fanatics. Cardinals fans always travel well to Spring Training. Marlins games never seem to sell-out against the Nationals.

Jupiter’s Harbourside Place is a great destination for shopping, dining and entertainment. Check out their web site for the events they have scheduled. In the past there has been live music, antique car shows, art shows and a Green and Artisan Market. http://harboursideplace.com/
