Game #34 Nats look to get back to winning with Stephen Strasburg

Yesterday, Max Scherzer did his job, and turned in an ace performance with 2-runs given up over 8.0 full innings. Stephen Strasburg gets the start today for the Washington Nationals against Wade Miley who is fresh after a short outing after taking a comebacker off his wrist five days ago. Miley is a crafty lefty, and only the third lefty starter the Nationals will have faced in this season so far.

Koda Glover began his rehab assignment with the Double-A Harrisburg Senators today and worked a scoreless 7th inning while striking out one batter and allowing one hit. It is expected that we will hear shortly about Shawn Kelley and Stephen Drew as to when they could return and any rehab assignments that might be scheduled.

This crop of Nationals players have hit Wade Miley well in the past. We will see if Dusty Baker and Mike Rizzo have any surprises for us today.
