Game #121 The battle of 2.81 ERA pitchers: Game Thread

In tonight’s game, Julio Teheran comes off of the DL to start for the Braves. Tanner Roark gets the start for the Nats. Both starting pitchers have identical 2.81 ERAs. Teheran was rumored to be available prior to the trade deadline, but was put on the DL which scared away most teams.

Dusty Baker has reconfigured his line-up that features Bryce Harper who has a history with Teheran.

Ryan Zimmerman and Jose Lobaton have not been added to the active roster for tonight’s game which makes sense to retain AJ Cole. Daniel Murphy is not in the starting line-up and has some rather impressive numbers against Teheran.
