Game #86 Tanner Roark back to the stopper role: Game Thread

Tanner Roark is back to the stopper role to stop this 2 game skid against the Milwaukee Brewers. In this afternoon getaway game, Tanner Roark faces Matt Garza. The Nats must take care of business in Washington, DC before they leave after the game to face the Mets. The Nats usually take a chartered train to NYC, but not sure if they fly this time on their chartered Delta flight.

Bryce Harper tweeted out earlier his travel wardrobe as he looks forward to getting to NYC for the 4 game set as he, Daniel Murphy, Wilson Ramos, and Stephen Strasburg will then fly on to San Diego on Sunday for the All-Star game festivities.

Dusty Baker hopes to rest Wilson Ramos who has played now in 9 straight days, and when Dusty says ‘rest’ he does not want him even to pinch-hit today. That will certainly change the alignment of the line-up.
